Does anyone out there who hasn’t heard about Baklava dessert? I guess not. If you haven’t heard let me tell you that it is the most delicious dessert in the world. It is a very rich taste dessert that is formed by extremely thin dough layers full of pistachios or walnuts and special syrup.
Turks and Greeks have an ongoing discussion about which country invented this dessert first. I think; until we find a written record, no one will be sure who invented it first. I am only sure about one thing; Turkish Baklava has a trillion times better taste than Greek one.
How to make Baklava?
Baklava is the most difficult dessert to make because you need to make the dough so thin that once you put the dough onto the roller, you have to see the other side. Can you imagine how thin is that? So for this reason, it takes decades to become a good Baklava chef.
