  • 1 1/2 cups lemon juice
  • 1 3/4 cups granulated white table sugar
  • 8 cups water
  • 6 fresh mint leaves


  1. Combine sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan. Boil the mixture and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Then remove from heat and allow to cool at room temperature.

  2. Remove seeds and juice the lemons with leaving the pulps. In pitcher, stir together with mint leaves, chilled syrup, lemon juice and remaining 7 cups water.

Tip: Serve with crushed ice.
